Copyright notices (DMCA)
If you believe work that belongs to you has been posted on this site without permission, I want to sort it out quickly and fairly. This page explains how.
What is FCBikeLibrary?
It’s a personal catalogue of Mac software that helps keep older machines useful — much like a community bike library keeps bikes on the road. I write short pages about programs, list versions and compatibility, and share install notes. The site does not host any software files. It is just a reference, run by me, Sam Okafor.
How to send a copyright notice
Please email your notice to [email protected]. To help me act quickly, include all of the following:
- The exact page address (URL) where the material appears.
- A clear description of the copyrighted work you say has been used without permission.
- Proof that you own the work or are authorised to act for the owner — for example, a link to an official site or a short statement.
- Your contact details: full name, email address, and a postal address if you are comfortable sharing one.
- A good-faith statement that you believe use of the work is not authorised.
- Your signature (a typed name at the end of the email is fine).
What happens after you send a notice
I will review your notice as soon as I am able. In most cases I reply within a few working days. If the notice is valid and complete, I will remove or disable access to the page described.
Counter-notices
If you believe material was taken down by mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address. It should include the page address that was removed, a good-faith statement that the removal was an error, your contact details, and a typed signature. I will forward it to the original complainant and may restore the page after a reasonable wait.
