You're mixing a track and want to reach for a fuzz, then a tape echo, then a mastering limiter — without hunting through separate folders. The Safari Audio Everything Bundle gathers the whole pedalboard into one download.

Plug in on any Mac, from Intel iMacs to Apple Silicon

  • Works as VST3 and Audio Unit on macOS, plus AAX for Pro Tools
  • Runs natively on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs, macOS 11 or later
  • Tested in Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Reaper and Pro Tools

Nine stompbox-style plugins from levelling to fuzz

The bundle pulls together Level-Or for levelling, Rhino Reverb for space, the Sun Bear spring tank, Fox Echo Chorus, the new Cassette Bunny lo-fi effect, Rabbit Tape delay, Lion Master for final polish, Owl Control for dynamic shaping, Cobra Fuzz for dirt, Dragon EQ for tone sculpting and Zebra Clipper for peak control. It's a colourful set — think character over clinical — and everything plays nicely together on a single Mac, with no separate authorisation rigmarole per plug-in.

It runs on that 2015 iMac just fine

Does the bundle work on older Intel machines, or is it Apple Silicon only? It runs on both architectures, so a 2015 iMac or a Mac mini M4 will handle it fine. The cut-off is macOS 11 — anything older won't load the plugins at all.

Are all the plugins separate downloads, or one installer? The safari audio everything bundle comes as a single package. You run one set of files and the whole family appears in your DAW. No chasing down individual .component or .vst3 files across the developer's site.

Will it clutter up my plugin menus? Yes, you get twenty-plus entries — but they're all prefixed so they sit together. If you only want five of them today, just move the others out of your plugin folder and pop them back later. No DRM fuss blocking that.

Does it play well with other plugin bundles? It does. The AU and VST3 versions load alongside Soundtoys, UAD, Valhalla, whatever you already use. AAX works in Pro Tools without bridging. I've seen people run Gorilla Drive into a stock Logic compressor with no hiccups.

Cassette Bunny adds lo-fi warble without leaving the bundle

The headline addition is Cassette Bunny, a lo-fi texture plugin that warps pitch and adds wobble. Before this version you'd need a separate tape-degradation plugin for that sort of colour. Now it's sitting right inside the bundle, so the chain from clean DI to chewed-up cassette tone happens with fewer insert slots.

Beyond that, the update tightened AU validation on Apple Silicon. Earlier versions sometimes threw a "failed validation" flag in Logic Pro on first scan. That's sorted now — the plugins pass validation without needing a manual reset in the Plugin Manager.

Lion Master belongs on the mix bus, not every channel

The biggest one: slapping Lion Master on every track instead of the mix bus. It's a mastering limiter, not a channel strip. Put it on a vocal and you'll wonder why your fader feels dead — it's clamping peaks that should stay dynamic. Save it for the stereo out, or a group bus if you know what you're doing.

Another: pushing Cobra Fuzz with the input gain dimed before listening. It's based on a spitty, gated fuzz circuit. Start with the gain at nine o'clock and sweep up slowly, or the signal turns to static and you'll blame the plugin instead of your gain staging.

People also ignore the output trim on Zebra Clipper. It's a clipper, not a limiter — it shaves transients hard. If you don't pull the output back, you'll send a brickwalled signal to the next plugin and think the clipper "sounds harsh." Dial it back 3 dB and listen again.

Finally, skipping the install instructions inside the package. The safari pedals mac torrent comes with a specific activation routine. If you just drag the .component files into place without reading the text file, the plugins won't show up in your DAW at all. Two minutes of reading saves twenty of head-scratching.

Feed Bull Sub Machine a clean signal before any dirt

These plugins slot into a chain the way hardware pedals would on a desk. I tend to put Bull Sub Machine first — it generates sub-bass from the input signal, so it needs a clean feed before any distortion. Then Gorilla Drive or Cobra Fuzz for grit, followed by Dragon EQ to carve out mud. After that, Hawk Phaser or Fox Echo Chorus for modulation, then Flamingo Verb or Rhino Reverb at the end.

With macOS's built-in aggregate device feature, you can run the plugins live while monitoring through another interface — handy if you're printing stems and want to hear the effects as you bounce. The AU versions also load inside Logic's MIDI FX slot a little unpredictably, but the VST3 versions in Ableton and Reaper handle automation reliably. If you're using Pro Tools, stick to AAX for proper delay compensation.

For sound design, Camel Strip and Rabbit Tape pair well with the Mac's built-in sampler. Record a short transient into Quick Sampler, feed it through Camel Strip for console-style saturation, then into Rabbit Tape for wow and flutter. You get a textured one-shot that sounds nothing like the original recording, all without leaving the box.

The safari pedals crack scene is noisy online, but honestly the install process here is straightforward — follow the included instructions and everything registers. The safari pedals mac version runs stable on everything from a 2017 MacBook Air to a current Mac Studio, and the plugins pull surprisingly little CPU unless you stack ten of them at once.
