Schedule I 0.4.6f13 Wine — Mac version
M-series Macs running Tahoe
You need an Apple Silicon Mac on macOS Tahoe. We've run it on a 2024 M4 Mac mini and it held up fine, but any M-series machine should do the job.
How's the performance?
It's early access, so expect a few rough edges. On an M4 it's smooth enough to get lost in Hyland Point without the frame rate spoiling your plans. Older M1 machines should manage, just dial back the settings if it gets choppy.
What's the setup like?
Straightforward. Drag the app into Applications and launch it. If it throws an error, run the Fix file from the disk image you downloaded. The first boot installs a component and might look stuck—press Command-Tab to hop to the desktop, then quit the game from the Dock and reopen it.
Does modding work?
Yes, the build comes with Melonloader v7.0 ready to go. Drop mods into the Mods folder inside the app package at Schedule I.app/Contents/SharedSupport/prefix/drive_c/Appstorrent Games/ScheduleI/Mods. Any extra files go in the game folder next to it, whatever the mod's readme says.
A day in Hyland Point
You start with nothing. No product, no cash, no name. A mate who runs a corner shop near the docks lets you crash in a back room, and that's your first base. By day three you've scraped together enough to buy a battered skateboard and a single bag of weak weed. You spend the afternoon peddling to students near the old pier, watching for patrol cars. One sale at a time, you bank a tiny profit.
Two weeks later the same player has three dealers covering the north estate, a grow operation in a rented lock-up, and a second-hand saloon for bigger runs. That's the rhythm of Schedule I: slow, tense build-up that turns into something sprawling before you realise it. The city changes around you—prices dip when a rival floods the market, and a police raid on your best street corner means shifting stock through the back of a launderette for a while.
Quiet fans and 4 GB of memory
On an M4 Mac mini it runs without drama. Load times are quick, and driving across districts doesn't stutter. The fan stays quiet even after a couple of hours. Memory use sits around 4 GB, so you've got headroom for a browser and Discord in the background.
It's an early access build, so you'll spot the occasional physics wobble—a dealer walking into a wall, a car clipping through a bin. Nothing that breaks a session. Crashes are rare. The Wineskin wrapper adds a thin layer of overhead, but on Apple Silicon you won't feel it. If you're hunting for a Schedule I crack Mac release that actually stays up during a long session, this one holds together well.
